Q: Do I need a permit for a beach ceremony?
A: There is a $1,450 beach ceremony fee payable to the hotel in order to secure an open area for your ceremony, as well as a weather back up space inside. This fee does not include decor items or rentals needed. No power is available at the beach. We have a list of preferred vendors that are wonderful resources for these items.
Q: What times can we host a beach ceremony?
A: In respect to the other guests that enjoy our beach, and so that you have the best possible experience, we limit beach ceremonies to prior to 9:30am and one hour prior to sunset. During special events and holidays, we do not host beach ceremonies. These include, but are not limited to, President's Day weekend, Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.
Q: What other restrictions apply to a beach ceremony?
A: Rice, bird seed and other items may not be thrown during a beach ceremony. All amplified sound cannot be overly loud. All chair and decor items must be removed immediately after the ceremony.
Q: When must the decision be made to move an outdoor event inside?
A: Two hours prior to the start of your function a decision must be made in regards to moving an event due to weather. This decision will be made with the guest, hotel banquet manager and catering manager.
Q: What outdoor ceremony options are in Deerfield Beach?
A: In addition to the beach, the City of Deerfield Beach offers rental of their Observation Deck at the International Fishing Pier complex. This deck sits above the beach on the second level of the complex offering amazing views of the ocean and pier. It is fully accessible with stairs and an elevator. It is rented in four hour increments. The Observation Deck does require a permit from the City of Deerfield Beach.
Q: Can we have a beach ceremony without a reception?
A: Yes. A beach wedding ceremony may be reserved without a reception for a $1,450 ceremony fee. The soft sands of Deerfield Beach and the sound of the waves offers a gorgeous setting for barefoot vows.
Q: Does the Wyndham Deerfield Beach have parking for guests?
A: The resort offers valet and self parking for overnight and event guests. For overnight guests, self parking is $20 per car per night and valet is $25 per car, per night.
